Pack of crooks, NOT UK based or remotely reliable. AVOID!
Disastrous purchase. Site superficially looks like a UK site with UK postage rates however the company is based in Malaysia. The confirmed order in the member login area of the site does not specify the lens mount ordered. I needed a lens within the week however three weeks later after payment has been made - nothing. If you read the small print the site quotes delays with credit card payment/ratification and then 7-14 days delivery. I requested the order to be cancelled which they would not since they felt no reason to do so. I can't use Skype at work and so e-mail correspondence was the only option with many delays to responses and vague answers. If I get hit by import tax this wipes out any savings from e.g. Jessops. Also if you look on eBay I believe before the company withdrew from this their rating was less than 95. No goods received yet - I will wait a few more days and then demand charge back from my credit card company. If the lens finally arrives I just hope it works and doesn't have to be returned which would be unbearable.
I ordered a lens from this company, about £90, thinking from the website that they were UK or EU. No lens ever appeared, the invoice number apparently referred to goods delivered to Cardiff (hundreds of miles away). emails were not taken seriously and to cut a long story short, I lost my money. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.
In February 2008 I ordered a Canon Ixus 850is from their website because it was already out of stock in Germany. GBP 243.12 were immediately withdrawn via PayPal. However, also they could not deliver it, so the order was cancelled after some time. They claim to have refunded the money but I am still waiting for it. PayPal says to have received nothing. MyCameras2006 does not react on enquiries about transaction details. I can only warn that there seems to be a risk of loosing the money (although I have not given up the hope).
I purchased a Canon 350D kit from MyCameras2006 and was frankly surprised by their high standard of support considering some of the adverse comments made on PriceRunner. A really helpful team and great packaging - I'd asked for a special birthday wrap, and they obliged with no extra charge. Sure, I'd recommend to anyone who's looking for a reliable and helpful supplier. Well done !! Dennis Bligh
No problem with these people. They have an Uxbridge office and were great when i was in a panic to get a fast delivery. I ordered a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0 L USM Lens and as I say, it arrived on time and I'm very pleased. Will definately use again when i can afford it!

i ordered JVC505 camcorder as advertised in the website on 26 Feb 2008. i wanted the product by 04 march, but the product only arrived on 10 march. late delivery. and then the item was not JVC505, (i ordered the JVC505 because i already study the product and it is user friendly) but they sent me JVC575 (the version that i did not want). they did not inform me that the item i wanted was not in stock and give me different item. i had paid $609.70 via bank transfer (which as advertised that the company will give 3% discount, but they never gave). on top of that, i had to pay £53.67 import tax. i asked them for refund and i return the product to hong kong as they told me to do so. but then they accused me of using the camera, which i did not even turn it on or put the battery on the camera. this company is too much. they did not response to the skype and only response very late to my e-mail. up to date, i did not receive any refund after i already returned the camcorder. i lost my money of £663.37 and no camcorder. they told they are going to refund, but nothing happened.
