It arrived at local delivery depot and was never seen again! Sent numerous emails, got standard reply, but contact number for depot was wrong, completely different company. If you have a problem, don't email but phone them, far more effective. But saying that, they said there were no more in stock and refunded the money - not really what I wanted. Amazon do seem to get some stick here, often about deliveries but I've not had a problem. On this occasion I paid for express delivery. Item arrived on time before 1PM so no complaints.
I wonder if some of those complaining are actually buying from Amazon?
It’s worth noting that not everything advertised on the web site is actually being sold by Amazon so, if your item is coming from a third party, it’s probably worth checking on the third party supplier before ordering. I’ve had the odd problem with third party suppliers but never with Amazon themselves.

I was having my living room redecorated and it was over 30 days before i opened the box and put batteries in it. Unfortunately, it wasn't working. I contacted Amazon, thinking they would say i was too late as i hadn't checked it. But They told me it was guaranteed for a year anyway and not to worry that it was a few days over the return time, that they would arrange to deliver another one and pick up the faulty one. It was easy to arrange for this to happen from my workplace so i would not have to wait at home. Within 2 days i had my new clock. I am very happy with the service i get from Amazon. And their "Amazon Prime" postage service is fabulous
