CommentsClear and accurate information given. Most important of all was the accurate delivery time, with the delivery personnel calling to advise more accurate 'window' on the morning of delivery. Despite delivery occurin when our drive was being dug up, there was no complaint. Removal of packaging was swift and efficient. Many thanks.

CommentsThe overall experience was perfect, the only thing I would change is that I paid for connection which was done. However I also have a dishwasher which was disconnected to allow the connection of the washing machine. It would have been nice if this was reconnected (a 30 second job). As it was I had to diconnect and reconnect the washing machine so I could connect the dishwasher bach up. Not a big deal for me but it did make the connection service worthless.

I was reassured by the amount of contact regarding product availability and delivery, and very impressed by the punctual delivery of my cooker. Extremely efficient and good value for money. I will not hesitiate to recommend this company to anyone.

CommentsExcellent service and delivery as promised. The delivery men were very friendly and helpful. In an unfortunate accident the fridge got slightly dented, the delivery men were most apologetic and offered me various options to remedy the situation. I chose a discount off my appliance which I haven't yet received and that is my only complaint.

CommentsSo often when you make purchases via the internet the delivery part of the service falls down. Not with Appliances Online. They had the best availability of my required product, best price, and toped it off with a perfect delivery service. I highly recommend purchasing from this suppler.

CommentsI found the website very good and easy to navigate. I found the prices to be very competetive and the order process very simple, including the 'buy now pay later' option. The correspodance was good up until the part where I was meant to get a telephone call the night before my delivery date to give me a four hour time slot, this phone call never came although the appliances did turn up on the expected date (albiet at 7.20am !!!!) Overall I think Appliances On Line are a great company and I plan to use them again and recommend to others.

CommentsOnly issues were : 1. the detailed delivery instructions were not carried out by the delivery driver. 2. The phone call giving me my 4 hour delivery slot was made at 14.30 hrs not the 17-30 to 21-30 hrs as I was informed and was made to my second option phone (mobile) which was was not switched on. I therefore was not aware of the delivery slot until the driver rang 5 minutes before he arrived.

CommentsThere were 2 mistakes with delivery date at AO end. Customer Services were very good though and sorted it out and removed delivery charge. When machine did arrive, delivery men were excellent - quick, efficient and friendly. Despite the irritating date issue (2nd one was due to machine nor arriving from manufacturer) I would use AO again. Also excellent value for money.

CommentsHaving taken 4hrs off work and given a time slot of between 11am to 3pm to take delivery of our fridge/freezer it finally turned up at6.10pm 3hrs late.We unpacked it ourselves because the delivery men still had numerous drops left on and found a deep scratch on the freezer door.The money i saved on the appliance i lost through 3hrs lost wages(£42).At no point were we contacted by either AOL or their delivery dept to say the delivery was going to be late,all in all i will not be purchasing anything from AOL again.They had 2wks to get it here on time and failed miserably.

CommentsMy purchase experience was extremely good. I already knew which product I wanted to buy and used PriceRunner to find the cheapest supplier. This was Appliances Online. The online purchase process was simple and I was given a selection of delivery dates to choose from. I received a telephone call the next day to confirm my order and was offered an earlier delivery date (four days earlier) which I was able to accept. The day before I was given a four hour time slot and the appliance arrived in that slot and only three days after I had placed my order.

CommentsDelivery was on time but when product was to be taken off the vehicle it was found to be very badly damaged on the front door of the fridge department ,the delivery driver contacted his depot and the chap there asked if I would accept a 10% discount ,I took this to understand that a new product would be delivered with a discount but no this was not the case ,he meant that I should accept the product as is ,I declined his offer.He also said that they would contact Appliances Online and they would contact me,I waited approx 3 hours and eventually contacted them myself only to find that no one from the delivery company had contacted them at all.They apologised and set a new date about a week later for re-delivery of a new product . I am not at all happy with the performance of the delivery people I presume that whoever loaded the vehicle did not give a dam as to its condition and sent it out anyway I think that this is a very poor attitude ,do they not have checkers to prevent this or is it like most in society who have a don't care attitude.I do not have a problem with Appliances Online but with the delivery company Expert,hardly an appropriate company name

CommentsThe only part of the purchase experience that I was not particularly comfortable with was the offering of the extended warranty deal. I got the feeling that although Appliances on line were double checking my order, which was really good, they really wanted to sell me insurance on a product that was covered by a guarantee. I appreciate that the warranty that they were offering possibly could be a very good one, however I felt uncomfortable being asked why I was refusing to take it up and felt that pressure was going to be put on me once I had said no. This meant that I had to end the call rather abruptly and this left me with an uncomfortable feeling. I felt I was being taken as a fool.

CommentsThe process of purchasing my item was flawless from beginning to end. The agents who called me regarding product insurance and also delivery were friendly and polite. Even the delivery, despite the van breaking down and a delay whilst waiting for a replacement van, was brilliant. The delivery men called and advised that I may not receive my item and when I called a few hours later they were polite,helpful and able to advise that my item would be arriving that day.

CommentsFrom the outset of the order, I have been kept up-to-date with the order status, including telephone calls to both my home and mobile numbers, as well as emails and a text.
I had a call to confirm a delivery day, a call with a 4 hour time slot and a call from the delivery driver to minimise that 4 hours on the day.

This has cost me financially and been a real inconvenience. The website customer service pledge is grossly inacurrate in relation to the level of service they say they will provide.

CommentsSpent whole week of hols. waiting for machine to arrive (having waited 3 weeks since date of order) which is what I was told everytime I rang. No replies to any emails and promised call backs didn't happen. Goods arrived broken. Will I get refund?!! No confirmation email yet. People on phone lines were polite but ineffectual.

CommentsPurchase fine, delivery unsatisfied.
Well i say delivery, more of a pit stop really. They were late, there was no phone call from them one hour before delivery, which meant that my van was still in the drive which they blocked in with there lorry. From the attitude of the pair of them they was no was no way they were going to move so they could get items round back so i instructed them to leave them at front and i'd move them round back later. There was no attempt at removeing items from packaging or evening asking if i wanted too. I was quickly asked to sign the form and no sooner had my pen left the paper than they were off down the road. When i walked back to the house i realised that they hadn't taken the old machine as paid for. I called Appliances online and they were most helpful saying they were sorry and they'ed refund my money and have a word with delivery company. I wasn't asking for them to come back or shouting about the lack of service they were late and forgot to collect it, it's annoying but mistakes happen and i accept that. About ten minutes later i got a call from the delivery firm saying that it was my fault as the driver asked me if there was something to collect and i said no. Even after i told her that they didn't ask for it, she still insisted that they did and that it's my fault. This is what has really annoyed me. I don't expect to be called a lair when i'm the one thats been put-out and trying to be as fair to people as possible. She must think that despite paying to have it removed when asked i say there's nothing to collect, whats the point in that i ask you. Quite simply, they were running late and where rushing around and something was forgotten. It's a pain as i now have to get rid of it but it's not the end of the world either. But to then be called up and told that the driver said i'd told him that there was nothing to collect makes me out to be a complete prune .
Not very good customer relations is it.
I would advise you change couriers.

CommentsAOL seem to have no idea of their stock availability. I chose them as they promised quick delivery and ordered a washing machine. On the day of delivery, they told me that the item was out of stock and ordered an alternative. 3 days after that (6 days in total) they rang and told me that that was also out of stock. Total time wasted = 6days, Items delivered = 0. Useless. Avoid at all costs.

Later I was given a time slot and on the morning of delivery, the driver phoned to give a narrower slot. Goods arrived on time and installed exactly where I wanted them.

CommentsI order 2 (tow) Items. Everything seems perfect. They call me on time to provide me with the “time slot” which was from 9 to 13 and the date of delivery-so far so good.

Then, the day of the delivery the driver call stipulating that he will be late to one hour. I did try to understand the why due to my other commitment unsuccessfully except to have an annoyed driver with a patronising attitude, almost shouting at me.

When the driver did show up it was with only one item. When I did ask about the other, well I should not because once more I did annoyed him. The answer was: “Sorry I don’t have it in my Lorry”.

On the other hand, he fulfils the whole condition of packaging at time of visit.
Meanwhile on the phone I did try to contact the Customer services while the driver was still present. The result was unsuccessful. Nonetheless, did try the sale services as I reach them in less that a minutes-surprise!

The gentleman in the order department (around 2:10) understood my concern and promises me to leave a message for the Customers services in order for them to contact me as soon as possible.

Around 5:40 still without call from the Customer services, I did attempt another try successfully. A gentleman pickup the phone and I could explain to him my worry. He did acknowledge on his computer screen the message previously left by the gentleman on the order department, in fact he did pass on the message around 2:10-many thanks to him.
Question, why no one did pick up this before and try to solve a customer concern earlier?

I haven’t receive yet my second Item-Fridge/Freezer and I’m still waiting for a call clearing up the why I haven’t received this Item. One said that they will investigate why.

The irony of all is that I cancelled an order from a high street company because they were late and went to Appliances Online after reading some “good feedbacks” from some of their customers.

CommentsAEG oven ordered, card charged and delivery date set - 2 weeks away. Phone call evening before but no delivery.
Called Appliance Online and was told that appliance had not been despatched from Rubgy - and that they would call back within 4 hrs with a new delivery date. No call came, so I called them and was told that appliance had been 'recalled by AEG' and no idea of delivery date.
Direct contact with AEG assured me that the appliance had not been recalled but that UK was out of stock of this particular oven.
I cancelled the order from Appliance Online and had card refunded the same day.
Ordered from a different supplier (who had stock) on a Thursday and received my oven the next Tuesday.
Not a happy experience with Appliance Online, unfortunately.
Why couod they not have told me the truth at the outset ?

CommentsI was informed on Sat 8th March that the item was out of stock at the maufacturer and was not expected for 10-14 days, after which the carrier would be in touch to arrange delivery. No contact was made regarding a delivery date and on the morning of the 15th March it arrived on my doorstep. It was only by chance that I was at home to take delivery. The driver informed me that twice that morning he had phoned my mobile which was switched off but at no time did he attempt to phone my land line number which was aslo on the order. I don't call that good customer relations!

CommentsDealing with Appliances Online itself was a pleasent straight forward experiance however the deliver company you use is a different matter. I was told it would be delivered between 11am-3pm it arrived at 5.30pm without a sorry we're late, i also paid for removal and connection, they were unaware that they were removing an appliance even though it stated this on the delivery sheet they left with me and then they didn't have the right tools to connect my appliance because they had left them at the previous address and i didn't have any either so needless to say i didn't get it connected, i have however been told i can have a refund for my non-connection, my father came round the next morning to connect my appliance and he discovered that the delivery men had also taken the 6 bolts and transit bracket with them which should have been left with me. Please don't get me wrong i am only unhappy with the delivery which i know isn't even part of your company, i am highly delighted with my washer dryer, the soomth payment transaction and the very reasonable price which was provided from Appliances Online.

CommentsThe whole experience of buying through Appliances online was very good. I have used you before and would do so again. The only downside was that the delivery man didn't give us an opportunity to open the item before we had to sign for it. He did seem to be a bit in a hurry. Luckily everything was fine.
